Once an expansive desert, little is left other than bits of dunes. The aboriginal people who once wandered the plains thought this was a spiritual place. Now it's a Provincial Park. Interesting wild life, including the Northern Prairie Skink, who when attacked can detach it's tail and fling it several feet away. The tail is said to be able to wriggle un-attached for 15 minutes giving the Skink ample time to escape the distracted predator.
