I had one for over 15 years, sold it a few weeks ago because it didn’t get any use anymore. 

I used to shoot very nice color slides with it without any problem. The metering is classical Leica, just as the M6. Once you are used to it, you get consistent results.

Works for B&W as well.

The Summarit 40 is excellent, and I always found this focal length a nice compromise.

The only problem is they are not repaerable.

My dream P&S would be a full frame digital Leica CM with the same size :)

I kept an older thread from 2015 with information for repair of Minilux and CM. Just looked and the website of the repair facility is still available, it's in Portugal. I also found this repair facility on the Rangefinderforum. My CM was not used during several years and last year it behaved strange, the lens closed after almost every shot. I removed the battery that was in the camera during all these years and left it out for a whole week. Put the battery in again and the CM functioned back normal. Now I keep my Minilux Zoom, CM Zoom and CM without battery inserted.
