Hi dear M10 users

I am a longtime M user and have a set up based on the M10, a range of Leica Sumilux/Sumicron lenses, LR Classic on my PC, Color Munki calibration and finally an Epson SC 800p printer. I download the correct ICC profiles or I use the Colormunki to make my own paperspecific profiles - so all this should give optimal colors. 
 

Most of the time this works well, but some images have a distinct magenta colorstitch like in the «greys» og a light cloud or stone - Anyone experienced this.

Is this a software issue resolved by the new M10 R ?

yes all lenses are coded. On the screen all the images look all good, so it could be something in the printing. I cant figure it out as the ICC profiles etc seem to be correctly installed.

It seems to be the same printer problem that I have every time after an update of the operating system of my Mac. You have to deinstall the printer and install him again.

Hi Fellow M10 shooters,

I figured out my problem and it is probably not the camera but the printer ICC profiles downloaded from Moab.

I have a Xrite Color munki and downloaded their newest software:

 and made my own ICC profiles to my Epson SC 800 P printer. And the result looks very good clean bright colors. So thanks for your attention.

While expensive initially, ImagePrint will not only eliminate this problem by providing superb custom profiles (with IP Black) for virtually all papers and lighting conditions, but offers full time soft proofing, and overrides the Epson driver while optimizing all settings for better print results.  I use it as a simple external editor to LR Classic, in lieu of the LR print module.  It also provides a variety of controls to complement and refine LR edits for best print results.  I like that it also gets me out of the Apple/Adobe/Epson chain (or Windows users), which can get messy when one or another introduces issues as a result of ‘upgrades’.

it is a great pleasure to see a good printed version of your subject, so much better than only on screen. Then you really see what your Leica lenses can do !
