Hi there

Apologies in advance if there is a topic covering this but I could not find anything.

I have an M262 and an oldish laptop which needs replacing. Just wondering, as a keen hobbyist photographer, what would be the best laptop/ MacBook to get. The MacBook Air at £999 would be at the absolute top end of my budget and, ideally, I would not want to spend more than £750.

Any thoughts very gratefully received.

Many thanks!

Ben

Spend the extra £250 even if that means waiting to get it. Ultimately a large portion of digital photography now happens in the computer, and it’s worth getting the best you can.

At some point you’ll need to budget for some external hard drives, one for your photos, another for local backup. But you don’t need that now. And think about Backblaze for cloud based backup (£5 a month for unlimited storage).
