New owner of the 50mm Summilux v3, so trying to feel out the OOF rendering; I was looking for outlining.

First snap of my daughter after a 10 month absence! I’ve forgotten how good a 50 is.

What took so long if you don’t mind my asking?

Leica are really slow at the moment for servicing due to their backlog. When I initially sent it in, they told me 5 months. It ended up being 10. The good news is that they did a great job at least.

Had a few frames left in my film camera so swapped out the 35mm for the 50mm and finished the roll off with some test shots. These are on Foma 400. I really love the way it draws on film.

Nice shot Graham. I’m the same, the 35mm pre asph has been glued to my camera but I’m feeling the love for 50 again since having this lens back. I’m enjoying being able to control what’s in the frame a little easier.
