This is the widest MS-Optics lens. Stopping down to f/11 or even f/16 is advisable and the distortion (here corrected) is very high and also wavy.    7
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!  Another MS-Optics lens I had the chance to have a closer look at thanks to a reader, the Perar 17mm 4.5. Knut Posted November 2, 2022 Share #42  Posted November 2, 2022 Yes, and the river Elbe is very wavy, indeed, not to speak of the Elphi...😜 The lens has pronounced vignetting and very unsharp corners wide open, but I don't mind to carry it anywhere and choosing subjects accordingly. It is awkward, especially the aperture setting, but it is a lot of fun and really sharp in the center, already at f4.5. Jpeg directly ooc, set to WATE's 16mm manually. And yes, it's  my right leg in the foreground.   Welcome, dear visitor!
