JT07 Posted August 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been using my M8 since Feb with absolutely no problems at all. It's been great but it finally caught up to me this week. This past week while shooting as soon as I depressed the shutter release, it recorded the image but the shutter seemed to get "locked" and continued to recock over and over again. It took a good minute before I could get it to stop by turning it on / off a few times, etc, etc, finally it just stopped. The next day I installed the new firmware hoping maybe that would help but it's now happened twice more this week. The latest time (this afternoon) I turned the camera off and it still was happening, then I took the battery out which stopped it but when I reinstalled the battery it continued on doing it again. After a minute or two of taking the battery in and out it finally stopped. Any advice or thoughts? I dread the thought of sending this camera back or in for repairs. Thanks, JT

Thanks, JT Hi JT, It seems you aren't really going to have a choice. This problem is not going away by it's self. Unfortunately! Kind regards..
