Hello all,

As some of you might guess, here comes another post of Space Shuttle Images. I had my 90mm 2.8 coded I purchased a CV12mm (shot without viewfinder or filter), just purchased a filter and on the way to order a JM 12mm filter setup. The rest were shot with my 28/2.8 (purchased with the M8 November of 2006).

I am using the latest M8 release and the only problem that I have found is that the M8 seem to be louder when in "C" mode.

I am now using the DNG from Photo-Merchnic on a MAC Pro to CS3...Just used Apple J to seperate the DNG from JPG and the transfer to CS3 on the DNG file to the RAW processor.

I also included a shot of the under belly of Endeavour (thought you might wanted to see what it looked like up close.

But the 90mm and my new 12mm now gives me the ability to get in close or stay back if needed.

Tech. Data

ISO 160 WB: Cloudy SOme B&W in Camera

p.s. just love the CV lenses (12, 15, 50 Nokton)

Love the shot with the tiles/side and the people under the belly of Shuttle. The texture is so good you almost feel like you can reach in and touch it. I don't think of Shuttle as having texture, just surfaces, but you captured the texture well. Maybe it's because Shuttle is dirty. :) Looks great. Thanks for posting. (I've not commented on other Shuttle/Kennedy shots you've posted in the past but they've always been cool.) Thanks --Will

Gary,

I particularly like the shot of the crowd under the shuttle. I've never seen a shot like this before -- it's a remarkable illustration of the shuttle's scale and texture.

Any close-ups of the "gash" that so captivated media attention the past few days? :) As always, very interesting photos to look at.

Hello to all,

Thanks for the nice comments,

The underside of the belly of Shuttle ENDEAVOUR WITH THE GASH,

ok, I am posting three, one with the actual gash, one with other dings and one of a landing team photog taking some photos under the belly. As you can see you can stand under the belly or wing and not touch the top.

Tech data:

ISO 160 Fill flash with SF24 D (OK, FLASH BUT NOT GREAT) lemse my baby (28 f2.8 Elmarit, ASPH)
