I recently started a new job and we are doing a lot of lifestyle imagery, pseudo documentary type stuff. We are doing both still and video, so we bought a full Sony A series set up. For the stills I am using a Sony A7r4 set up. I prefer the Leica experience overall, but it's work so I have to deal with it. But!! I got the adaptor and have been mainly using my leica lenses!! The experience is not even close, but I'll take what I can get.

Anyone else adapting thier lenses to other bodies?? Let's share some results.

Sony a7r4 - 50mm summilux.

I use them on my A7III quite regularly (mostly 35mm and greater focal lengths). Most recently was a brief outing to test newly acquired 50mm Noctilux f1 v4,  both shots below at f1.  The combination works very well (IMHO of course!)

I can't comment yet! I'm awaiting delivery of a Sony A7Rii and adapters to use my Leica lenses on a full frame body...I've been using them for several years quite satisfactorily on a m4/3 body. I didn't get either the Techart or Fotodiox Pronto adapters, as I'm not sure AF will be worth it for me, as most of my work is casual in nature and I'm quite used to manual focusing. Needless to say, I'll be quite interested in seeing others' responses in this thread.

I use the Novoflex NEX/LEM & NEX/LER adapters respectively for my M and R lenses - not the cheapest but well worth their prices.

I have Canon RP, but Canon doesn't make compact RF mount lenses.

I could use Summarit-M 35 2.5 on it, but I prefer Nokton 35 1.4 II.

I don't think autofocus is necessary, unless you are tracking some fast moving kids or something. The focus peaking takes getting used to and isn't even close to the experience on the Leica... But it's fairly quick, especially past 2.8 where the DOF forgives.
