ngm011 Posted January 28, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Today I’ve tried updating firmware of my Leica M10-P with installed version 2.7.5.0 to the newest version 3.21.3.50 i.e. “M10-P-3.21.3.50-CUSTOMER”. After confirming “Do you want to update camera firmware” with “Yes”, and having the camera reporting a progress with “Uncompressing” followed by “DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY!”, I got “UPDATE FAILED!” and “System will restart now”. I have tried downloading again *.fw file, formatting the card again and removing the battery and retrying the update again. So far I have never had any issues updating any of my Leicas. Update worked flawlessly on the M10M (FW M10-M-3.21.2.50-CUSTOMER) but failed on the M10P (FW M10-P-3.21.3.50-CUSTOMER)... Same card, same procedure: 0. Inserted a fresh battery 1. Saved user profile to the card that was in 2. Formated a new card in the camera 3. copied firmware 4. started update process... jedam Posted January 29, 2021 Share #5 Posted January 29, 2021 Without calling the CS, this morning I found 116MB Version M10-P-3.21.3.50-Customer on https://de.leica-camera.com/Corposite/Service-Support/Support/Downloads?category=93710&subcategory=&type=108942&language=68389 and this works great! The pespective control is easy to use. Also, the correction is applied same time to both, .jpg & .DNG in "JPG + DNG"-mode. Finder Preview corrects even the .DNG. But unfortunately the import to C1 (Version 20) is not applying the correction to the .DNG.
