Irek Posted August 28, 2007 Share #41 Â Posted August 28, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The real seller l10 would be something with electronic viewfinder so it would be smaller, like digilux 2 but with better EV and primes similar to:Â Â (35mm equiv.) 15 f4 21f 2.8 24 f2.8 28 f2 50 2.8 (very small in size) Â Â Why bodering making more zoom lenses. is so difficult to compete agains this and besides what the fourthirds needs is primes. Theres not fourthirds with electronic viewfinder either. that would be cool for me and for many others D2 users. Â I agree. When rumors about D3 emerged, I expected D2 sized EVF camera with replaceable lens. But They choose other way. They even called it as a new "D system". I think it was a marketing mistake. To choose new brand name for system without bright future. Maybe they should come back, rethink and try with high resolution EVF camera with 4/3 system lens (to secure investments in 4/3 lens, of course). Advertisement Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Hi Irek, Take a look here Panasonic L10 dSLR (new). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Bo_Lorentzen Posted August 28, 2007 Share #42  Posted August 28, 2007 Having both SLR and EVF - I must say that I feel the eletronic viewfinder in the current designs somewhat removes my from the action, it is harder to capture the decisive moment.  Aside from that. my nose does very well with the porro finder on the current Digilux 3. I would be happy to see more of that finder system (or style if you like).   Bo  Zenfolio | Bo Lorentzen

Guest malland Posted August 30, 2007 Share #48  Posted August 30, 2007 ...In any case, please remember that Leica is always very interested by all our comments (positive and negative) - and that they do read our posts ... In that spirit, what is your first impression of this L10 D-SLR? If Leica ever decides to introduce their own version of the L10, what would you change, what would you keep and/or take out?...Gimme a break! Leica is not, and should not be, interested in comments on a camera of which people have only seen a picture and specs. —Mitch/Bangkok Mitch Alland's slideshow on Flickr
