NicholasT Posted January 19, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m current SL2 owner and very recently received my SL2-S. I’ve tried to import my SL2 profiles into SL2-s but on every occasion I get an “import failed” indication. I’ve repeated the process with multiple SD cards with same result. I assumed that being that only difference between the cameras is the sensor resolution that sharing profiles would be pretty straightforward. I spent a lot of time creating multiple profiles for different shooting situations so was hoping to avoid having to go through the entire process all over again on SL2-s Would appreciate guidance from anyone who has figured out how to accomplish this task. Alternately please let me know if what I’m attempting to do simply can’t be done. Thanks.

Ingo Posted January 19, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2021 Although the SL2 and SL2-S are very close there are differences in the menue, esp. for video. I think that's why it's not possible to reuse SL2 profiles. BTW: The same is true for Lumix S1 and S1/R.

Thanks for the feedback!
