I'm afraid this will be only partly useful.

But the NK 2.5cm f/4 ltm does not appear to protrude into the camera more than the Cosina/Voigtlander 25mm Snapshot-Skopar f/4 - and that lens did not interfere with M6 (or C/V Bessa-L) metering.

The NK is very deep-set as seen from the front, but it is also an extremely short, spherical "bubble-lens" of only 4 elements (o).

Additionally, the rear barrel narrows down towards the back, which may allow the angled M metering view to sneek a peak past the barrel.

Unlike the Leica 21 Super-Angulons and 28 Elmarit v.1, which definitely block the meter.

But since that is all circumstantial,  here's hoping you get a more definitive answer.

As to fooling the meter, the Topogon-type optics probably produce significant light fall-off in the corners - so that may fool the meter even if it is not blocked. The heavily center-weighted M meter may not "notice" how dark the corners are, and fail to compensate for that.

Tried before & no problem with metering, you will get red colored edges though on the M10, not too big of a deal, you can simply crop.
That being said, this lens is too expensive and the rendering is fairly soft. I’d suggest going for a Nikkor 28mm f3.5 instead but that’s just my personal view.

By the way @adan I’ve also tried two different copies of the Elmarit 28mm v1 (9 elements) on my M9 and I can confirm it did not interfere with the meter. The Super Angulon (both f4 and f3.4) do interfere.

I have the elmarit 28mm v1 and it definitely blocks and throws off the light meter in most if not all settings.   I’m surprised you did not have similar results.

thanks for the replies wondering if any others out there?
