pocholin Posted January 13, 2021 Share #1  Posted January 13, 2021 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I just got this lens, two days ago, so far I like the build quality, the feel, fastness, quick focus and accuracy. I do wish it was more compact in size, then it would be perfect! I wanted a fast zoom lens to photograph my daughter's sports events, swimming and horseback riding; this lens accomplishes that. Since it doesn't have image stabilization, I took pictures in manual, most of them at 1/320, F/2.8, ISO 1600. The original pictures come a little on the dark side with the expected noise, I am brightening and denoising in Luminar, an easy process.  Welcome, dear visitor! pocholin Posted January 17, 2021 Author Share #4  Posted January 17, 2021 Haven't had many good opportunities to use this lens yet but I am certainly enjoying it thus far. Does anyone else have it? arogall Posted January 28, 2021 Share #5  Posted January 28, 2021 Thanks for posting this. I have a TL2 being delivered tomorrow and was thinking this may be a good zoom (effectively 36-105mm) to pair with some fast primes.

Shawn30 Posted February 13, 2021 Share #8  Posted February 13, 2021 I have the 24-70 Sigma and I’m super impressed with it. If it weren’t for the size, I doubt it would ever come off the camera.

If it weren’t for the size, I doubt it would ever come off the camera. The charm of these cameras is that being small they are handy and practical but if we adjust them with large lenses, the charm disappears. Within the large objectives it is not the largest, if you place for example a Sigma 105mm, there you would notice a greater difference. The camera in the photo is larger than CL. pocholin Posted March 4, 2021 Author Share #10  Posted March 4, 2021 at 58mm, ISO 1,600, F2.8. I agree with @Shawn30, if it wasn't for the size, it would never leave the camera.
