Advertisement Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Hi lambroving, Take a look here Mallory Series I. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted August 13, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 13, 2006 Nearly... A teensy bit too much saturation and contrast for my taste, but definitely one of yours!
Guest agnoo Posted August 13, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 13, 2006 I do love this shot, William !!! Just a small quick´n´dirty correction with my freeware-cellphone-photo-editor - the sky was more dramatic that day (poor quality - just to show how it was like):
lambroving Posted August 13, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted August 13, 2006 Ron, Gad! Don't you think that's a bit over the top?! Very funny!!! Did you get a lot at the Ring this weekend?
andybarton Posted August 14, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2006 If you recall, I privately sent you an edit of your first one of these with a more subtle sky enhancement. I knew I was right.
lambroving Posted August 14, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted August 14, 2006 Actually you were not and neither was Ron, who as a graphic artist cannot resist making it more dramatic than either my eye or the film (which is exposed correctly) captured. That's fine if pictorial effect is desired. However, I tend to adjust an image only if it DOES NOT look like what I remember. I prefer the subtle shades and contrasts, but this is a matter of taste.
