samwells Posted August 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2007 Alexander: Wonderful panorama, great composition with that near-distance curve embracing the different elements, and a lovely painting-like softness to the colors. I like the placement of the figure and the white dog on the left, too. Superb. cheers: Sam
Guest lykoudos Posted August 22, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 22, 2007 Hello Alexander. Wonderful admission. Immediately I think of the “master of the rings”. Or to “the nebulas of Avalon”. Greeting Wolfgang

atufte Posted August 22, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 22, 2007 By the way this was stiched toghether from 16 vertical images and made a huge panoramic file (about 300mb 8 bit/600mb 16 bit...) Very funny :-)
kuddel Posted August 22, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 22, 2007 Alexander, a very good picture and interesting work, building it togther from so much images. I like the colour and the fog or cloud that makes the mountains disappear to nowhere. The curving is great and evokes the feeling of closeness at the edges and distance in the middle. Sam did a supereb describtion why the picture is good, I just join that. May I ask which software you used to create the panorama? Regards, Andreas
