Jimmy12 Posted August 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Everyone, I have been around for a while and feel benefit a lot. Here I have a simple question. I am going to do a project about children, mostly indoor photography. I wonder which two lenses, three at most, would you choose for this kind of work, I will be using an M8. In particular I was debating between 28 and 35 for quick group shot or shallow DOF & speed... 16-18-21 28-35-50 28 2,8 35 1,4 (pre-asph) 50 1,0 (slight back-focus) 90 2,8 Thanks for any comment, Jimmy

gmaurizio Posted August 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2007 For this kind of projects we have used the 90mm (Konica) and the 21mm or 25mm. Given your list, I would pick the 35 1.4 and the WATE, no doubt. You are fine with ISO 640 or a tad more and 1/125 for the 90. The Wate rocks at 1/30-60. Post some samples...
