I downloaded “Firmware Leica SL Lenses - Vers.2.0”  from the Leica support site and followed the installation instructions.
With the SL 24-90mm lens mounted my SL2 the camera confirmed current lens FW was v1.2.
I selected to update the lens FW only for the camera to state the FW on the memory card was the same as the current FW on the lens, i.e. v1.2.
The same happened when the 16-35mm lens was mounted except that lens' FW was v1.1!

It seems the lens FW download from the Leica support site is incorrect. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks,
Grant

Yes, I experienced the same with my SL and S1H.  I figured that maybe the update was not meant for either camera.  I see you had the same issue but with an SL2.

I emailed Leica Australia quoting the issue the same day I wrote this post. Not even a reply. Head-scratching to say the least.

The firmware update download file has been changed to "SLLens03".  The update works now for my SL24-90 on my S1H.  It shows Ver.2.1.  Try it again.

I now have linear manual focusing on SL24-90.  I selected a 90 degree throw.  It works.  The 24-90 is now useable for pulling focus manually (for me).

My SL indicates that the lens firmware is Ver.2.1 as well.  There is no linear manual focus option on the SL, that I can find.
