Is it possible to change ISO via the SL2 thumbwheel without first pressing the button?

Hi

i am loaning an sl2 for a week as thinking of moving from Sony over to leica

i shoot primarily with the back thumbwheel for iso. 
 

is this possible to change on the sl2 without first pressing the button?

Hello, and welcome to the forum! Post your question in the SL-forum https://www.l-camera-forum.com/forum/236-leica-sl-system/, this is the medium-format S-forum. 

If I understand your question correctly, you can assign many of the SL2 buttons to ISO. Personally, I put ISO on one of the two buttons on the front of the body.

I just checked with the menu of my SL2. No, you have to press the button first, then turn the thumbwheel.
