new-m-york-6 Posted November 20, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted November 20, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all I just picked up a Nikon SC-28 cable for my Nikon SB-25 which has TTL mode (I read the wire would be compatible). When I set the flash to TTL mode the camera has a lightning bolt at the 1/50 shutter. The flash makes it's charging noise and everything seems good to go -- until I press the shutter and nothing happens. What's going on here? Notes: When I set the flash to Auto it fires with a big flash Flash in TTL mode does not do anything, I set the flash aperture to match my camera I tried in low light and also in a dark room, both didn't trigger anything Thank you
Advertisement Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Hi new-m-york-6, Take a look here Leica M6 TTL w/ Nikon SC-28 and Nikon SB-25 not firing in TTL mode. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
plaidshirts Posted November 20, 2020 Share #2  Posted November 20, 2020 (edited) Certain Metz flashes will work in TTL mode with an adapter but I don’t know of any other non-Leica brand flash that does with an M6TTL.
