The M10 and 35 Summicron is a fantastic choice. I use this combo 90 per cent of the time for all sorts of shots -- travel, landscapes, environmental portraits.

Thank for all of your comments - I can now report back.  It's done. On their way to me from Leica Manchester are a M10 Black Chrome, and 35mm Summicron.  Look out for gratuitous photos of things
