andybarton Posted August 18, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 18, 2007 Nice one, Graham. I'd be tempted to cut the top and bottom, and make it into a square format.
chris_livsey Posted August 18, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 18, 2007 Nice one, Graham. I'd be tempted to cut the top and bottom, and make it into a square format. I disagree. The dark menacing clouds at the top balance with the tree bottom RHS and make the shot. Take those out and it's a an ordinary, but good, landscape. As posted it's an excellent landscape. Great to see people using filters. A Adams would be proud of you.
dspeltz Posted August 18, 2007 Share #5 Posted August 18, 2007 I agree with the crop. In fact, I tried it. This is a beautiful photo, and one that really appeals to me with less weight on the top and bottom.
elansprint72 Posted August 18, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 18, 2007 Superb (cropped) shot; lovely sky.
mac11 Posted August 18, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 18, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Much impressed with photos in your gallery. Looks very much like paintings, with touching framing. I am barely learning to do white balance... much to aspire to. Mac11 Oslo
