Guest Posted August 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can you have just the shutter speed in the viewfinder of a Q2 or do you simply have to put up with all the other stuff? Also can you disable touch screen and video? Is face detection still rubbish or has firmware updates improved this feature?
Advertisement Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Hi Guest, Take a look here clean finder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ianforber Posted August 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 26, 2020 You can use the centre button of the control wheel to the right of the rear screen to cycle through the EVF display. I have all the histogram, grids etc switched off so just pressing the centre button cycles me through a completely clean EVF display, one with just the bottom border, showing ISO, aperture shutter speed and exposure compensation, or one with top and bottom border, with the top showing battery status, file format etc. I usually just have it showing the bottom border as I’m mainly interested in aperture, shutter and ISO. I have the EVF Extended mode enabled, which means the rear screen is switched off unless I press one of the three buttons to the left of the screen. I quite like using the touch screen on the initial summary screen to quickly change something. Never use video so never accessed it or needed to disable it!
