jlancasterd Posted August 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Those who have been on this forum for a couple of years will remember me posting a series of photos covering the construction of a 1st/3rd/brake carriage for the Welshpool & Llanfair Railway. The W&L were so impressed that they ordered a 3rd class saloon to go with it. Construction started in early May and it was delivered today. The car was built in the Ffestiniog Railway carriage shops at Boston Lodge near Porthmadog. I'm told that the next construction job is to be a Pullman observation car for the Welsh Highland Railway. 15 May 2007... [ATTACH]50122[/ATTACH] Today...
