lanetomlane Posted August 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 9, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry guys, I'm having a senior moment and need help. How do you turn OFF the "touch" sensitive function on the Rear Screen. Since I last updated the firmware when I put my eye to the viewfinder my nose must touch the screen (I know I'm not short of length in the nose department) and I see the Menu as opposed to the scene I want to take. This didn't used to happen and so I can only assume either my nose has grown, or the camera reset with a firmware update. By the way, it's the original SL. I have done a search on the forum but cannot find an answer. Thanks for any help. Edited August 9, 2020 by lanetomlane
Advertisement Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Hi lanetomlane, Take a look here SL Rear Screen Touch Function. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted August 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 9, 2020 yes the nose is alway in the way of touch. now with the mask on I keep pushing the play and function button when I shoot. I have it off, and just in my video profile I will have it on to change focus.

You've saved me a sleepless night. Cheers Tom
