codocee Posted August 6, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) If you had to choose, which would you prefer. I have to make a decision. Sell the Q and buy a 262 for use with my older 35mm cron, older 50 lux, and 28 f/1.9 voigtlander and 90 tele elmirit. I can use all this glass with a Sony but realize it isn’t the same. The Q is special but the 28 fixed has been a challenge. I’m just not sure if the 262 will scratch the itch and more importantly whether I should keep the Q and be happy. I would be hard pressed to find another Q in this condition. I have been using a x100f for carry around, but files don’t match the Q. Anything special about the images out of the 262? Had a M8 and M9 and each rendered beautifully, just can’t handle the quirks of each any longer. Same sensor as the M240? Thanks all! Advertisement Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Hi codocee, Take a look here Leica Q or M 262. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marchyman Posted August 6, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2020 I'm not going to help: I've both :-) I usually carry both cameras, keeping a 75mm cron on the M. When space is tight I leave the Q at home and instead add a 35mm lens for use on the M. AFAIK the 262 is a 240 less live view (and video) so you only get the classic center weighted metering mode.
