I contemplated for a week and ended up ordering the 50 SL Summilux. It seemed right to start with a 50 given my love of that focal length and the weight doesn't bother me (I used to lug a Hasseblad 501CM into the field). To simplify my kit, I'm trading in the M 50 Lux BC and a 50 Cron Dual Range. Both great lenses but I like the notion of having at least one AF and weather sealed 50. Of the many M 50s I have, I enjoy the Sonnar and the Noctilux more -- both of which are much easier to achieve critical focus with the SL2's EVF compared to a rangefinder given the focus shift of the former and very narrow DOF of the latter.
