djcphoto Posted July 25, 2020 Share #1  Posted July 25, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I have recently picked up a lovely Leica R8 with winder and power-pack, but the NiCd butteries in the power pack appear to be well past their prime! The pack charges fine but loses charge very quickly, even without use. I've opened the pack but unfortunately there are no specification markings on the six cells inside. Does anybody know what batteries I should use to replace them with? The only identifying mark I could find was the number '9708' stamped onto the side, as per the attached photo.
