I noticed while trying to use tracking focus, the focus tracking stops as soon as I release the shutter button. Is this another massive fail, or do I have the camera set incorrectly?? ie. ... while trying to shoot a simple clip on slider etc. I selected the tracking, which it picks up at half press of the shutter, depress the shutter all the way to start recording and when you let go tracking stops....
