M is M. Doesn't matter which number is attached to it, in terms of lenses. IMO.

I just get rid of last Leitz made 50 I have tried. No plans for another 50mm from Leica. I have couple of non-Leica 50mm, they are more for just to have it. Not essential at all. I use two 35mm lenses among digital and film M.

Sold 28mm lens as well. Paid for 21mm lens, but not sure if it will make it to my home.

Never heard about it. Interesting FL range. How is optically? Decent or great?

It's very good to me. I don't go into charts and micro pixels, just shoot and see what I like. Works very well on M10.

When I travel, it covers both of my most wanted focal lengths in one.

Only 800 made but right now easy to find some for sale and not crazy prices as well.

After having used my M10 for about 2 years I realised that three lenses is enough to keep me permanently happy:

  1. Noctilux-M 1:1/50 v4
  2. Summicron 50 v4
  3. Summicron 35 (not yet)

The essentials so to speak. The rest is not really necessary for me but it's nice to fiddle around with different brands and focal lengths. The choosen quantitative and empirical approach was quite expensive as you can imagine ;)

Just my thoughts and 2 cents. You may have different needs and/or requirements.

#3 - done. I found my brand new copy in the mail yesterday. My lens collection is complete. So, what next? I'm afraid, it gets boring ;)

Congrats with your new lens!

But I've been in the same weird situation: When a wishlist is fulfilled, a strange vacuum arises – nothing more to wish! 😆
