Advertisement Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Hi RG75, Take a look here SL2 - tethered ??. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted June 27, 2020 Share #2  Posted June 27, 2020 I use Capture one all the time in a studio shoot. the plus is quick preview when shooting connected with thunderbolt 3 cable.  No native support, you need to use the Leica Image Shuttle  software to load images and HotFolder in C1Pro  Lightroom is a slow render of any files. but if you already have it and have time to wait use Lightroom
RCarlsom Posted June 28, 2020 Share #3  Posted June 28, 2020 I spent the day today doing tethered shooting of some products to CaptureOne, via Leica Image Shuttle.  Used a Tether Tools cable. The three, C1, SL2, Tether Tools cable, and Image Shuttle worked very well together. Do make sure of one thing as you set up.  It will save you some aggravation: In Image Shuttle, go to the [File] tab in the interface and identify the folder into which your camera will sent the image files.  Then, Make sure to identify the SAME folder as your Hot Folder in CaptureOne.  Turn on Hot Folder in C1. Open C1 and Image Shuttle.  Do not connect your camera until Image Shuttle asks you to.  After connecting the camera, Image Shuttle might take 20-30 seconds to see the camera.  When it does, you will see on the computer screen what you see in the EVF. 1
bsmith Posted June 28, 2020 Share #4 Â Posted June 28, 2020 After import to C1 via the hot folder, it doesn't seem possible to get the results of a C1 "preset". ( automatically upon arrival in C1). Â Imports to C1 from a hot folder seem to ignore settings of normal" imports". Is there any '"work around"?

That is the downfall of Leica and C1P. Applying a correction from previews capture is only possible when using the C1P capture supported cameras. We should request full support of Leica in C1P

The market for third-party raw converters is quite small. Leica users have money (for the most part), and their cameras don't come with a native raw converter. It seems like a good fit. The problem is that C1 has a history of co-branding converters (Fuji, Sony), which probably entails some kind of incentive on the part of the camera maker.
