Advertisement Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Hi jg1976, Take a look here LEICA S TETHERED SHOOT LIGHTROOM IN 2020. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
albireo_double Posted June 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 9, 2020 Last time I tried was when they issued a new version of the Tethered plugin. It worked fine, finally (applying presets and all). Haven't done a long shoot with it yet (prefer shooting with the P1 XF / C1 when tethered in the studio).
traveler11 Posted June 10, 2020 Share #3 Posted June 10, 2020 An alternative for you may be the Leica Image Shuttle. It is imported into Lightroom using a 'watched folder', and is available in the downloads area of Leica AG.
Photon42 Posted June 11, 2020 Share #4 Posted June 11, 2020 Sure. I never really had problems with tethering. As @albireo_double pointed out. Leica provides an updated plugin for the more recent lightroom versions - out of my head I would say it dates back to Autumn 2019. No live view from the computer, though, but that does not matter to me.
jg1976 Posted June 12, 2020 Author Share #5 Posted June 12, 2020 Thank you for your all kind reply.. O use an older version of Lightroom, Lightroom 5.. So there might be no surprise tethering do not work any longer. Good to know it works with newer versions then however, i hate to go into subscription swamp. Because all Lightroom are on subscription now right?
albireo_double Posted June 13, 2020 Share #6 Posted June 13, 2020 Yes, subscription. But I don't find the annual price so bad, given that it also includes PS.
