Rokkor Posted June 8, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2020 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, is there a way I can transfer all images to the (limited) internal MacBook Pro SSD and archive them on an external SDD after the editing in Capture One? Or would I need to re-import them into the C1 database? I know that I could upload them straight to an external SSD s and edit them there, but it might be more convenient to not have a harddrive attached. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. digger1914 Posted June 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 9, 2020 Hi there, Assuming you are using a catalog and referenced files .. Are you saying you want to import, edit and then move the originals to the SSD? If so, you can copy the image files using Finder/Explorer and then use the locate option to point C1 at the new location. All edits will be saved as the catalog now simply looks to a different location for the originals.
