Except for a version of the firmware installed by Leica during sensor changing (IIRC no details of that firmware were released so it's not know what was updated), later firmware versions only include support for new lenses (28mm Summaron-M, Thambar-M and 75mm Noctilux, maybe others). That being said, there may be some undocumented changes. I'm guessing by the firmware version you have installed, the sensor is still the original version?
