GMB Posted June 2, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wanted to do some more serious panorama work with the S and the Ninja Nodal 5, which I bought a few years ago but have not used with the S so far. For the Ninja Nodal 5 you need to know the position of the entry pupil of the lens. Fortunately, Leica mentions the position in the technical specifications of the lenses availble on the Leica website. Typically, it is a certain distance in front of the bayonet (or behind the bayonet for the 180 mm). What I find confusing is that the specifiations say "in front of bayonet in incident light direction". Does that simply mean "in front of bayonet", i.e., you measure from the bayonet to the front element? Or does this mean something else? I know that for practical purpose this will most likely not make any difference, but I am still curious. Thanks. Georg
