Hi all,

I apologise if this topic has already been covered - but I can't see how the item shown would fit.

I'm looking for a device that connects to those sockets available in the D-Lux 2 - which aren't many.

This question arose recently for Digilux 2. Try searching the web for the item you need and you should find a Japanese alternative for your camera. It will be next to impossible to find an original release, but alternatives are available.

I have just searched and found this item

It does not list D lux 2, but it is a variant of Panasonic  lx 1 . It is highly likely that the item, found on Amazon,  shares the same camera connection for cameras made by Panasonic. Post a question on Amazon to find more information regarding compatibility. Answers are often forthcoming.

Having not found any remote shutter release compatible with this camera, I fail to see where any cable could attach anyway.

Any solution?

Where possible I use delayed action release.
