Alain88 Posted May 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone! I did a leather pouch for my Q2, and I'm so proud of me that I wanted to share with you. No AF auxiliary light, no screen, sure, but I don't use it and like to use my camera like an old film camera. It feels good in hand an smell leather What do you think of it? Welcome, dear visitor! Dennis Posted May 22, 2020 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2020 I think you did a great job. Smart! With a camera like the Q2 I would have preferred black leather, I don't like so much this color. But i'm sure it meets completely your requirements. If you are happy, we are the same.
Herr Barnack Posted May 23, 2020 Share #3 Posted May 23, 2020 (edited) @Alain88, Very nice work! I like it a lot. It even covers the red dot for those who want to go in stealth mode. If you were interested in doing so, I'll bet you could sell a few hundred of these to Q/Q2 owners in these parts. How much for one in black leather? 😎 Edited May 23, 2020 by Herr Barnack
Alain88 Posted May 23, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted May 23, 2020 Well I didn't plan to start a business but I could give you the drawing if you want to do one your own.
squaxor Posted May 24, 2020 Share #5 Posted May 24, 2020 That’s a thing of beauty. My taste is black leather with red stitching.

That would be great - I can do the basics and outsource the sewing to a local seamstress. I think I would substitute 1"x1" velcro patches where the brass snaps are. Alain88 Posted June 6, 2020 Author Share #9 Posted June 6, 2020 Hi everyone, I did what I could with the drawing, I didn't touch any drawing software for a while. Scale 1:1, cotation in mm, the position of the brass snaps are not indicated, nor the seams. Hav' fun! Pouch_Leica_Q2.PDF
Alain88 Posted June 9, 2020 Author Share #10 Posted June 9, 2020 I've corrected a small mistake: - Position of the lens was too high - The lether triangle is not equilateral Hav' fun! Pouch_Leica_Q2.PDF
