Veteran Posted August 12, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted August 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lens Specs: CENTURY 2000 SN: C556-0189 Made (300?) 1998 - 6MM Super 16mm format lens for motion pictures... I am looking for the complete lens or just the rear element... Â I am placing this on the Digital Forum to have it seen by the majority that view this forum... Â The lens was designed by Ian Neal of Panavision for Century Precision Optics L.A. and Made in Canada by Leica in 1998... They made 300 of them and they sold out fast. It came with a wide-angle adapter to widen to 4.5mm... Te adapter was made by Tinsley, (they made the optics that fixed the Hubble telescope) who owned Century at this time... Well here is where it gets fuzzy. Tinsley sells Century to Schneider Optics... If anyone knows where one can be purchased, I would be forever greatful... Many Thanks to those that view/participate in this forum... Regards...
