It's God's country...but then, what part of the English countryside isn't? Had a very pleasant lunch and pint (three cheers for CAMRA as well) at the Stag and Huntsman after attending the Holy Communion service at St Mary's. To be more accurate, I walked from Henley and, because the path along the river was closed, had to detour to the Marlow road and only made it to the end of the Communion service, after which the parish celebrated a double baptism. Speaking of nice tonalities, the high-angle photo of Sultan Ahmet Camii in your Flickr series beautifully captures the elusive light of January. Thank you as well for the black and white photos of New York, especially your choice of angles for the photo across the ice to the Statue of Liberty and the photo of the September 11 Memorial.
