Mid-morning today I took a walk up Knap Hill (on the Marlborough Downs in Wiltshire) then a little way along Tan Hill Way. Quite misty looking across Pewsey Vale! A series of photos made during a very enjoyable walk. M10 Monochrom, photo 1 is with 135mm APO-Telyt-M, the rest with ZM 50mm C-Sonnar.  Best viewed in LightBox - click on the image.

I've long meant to walk up that conical hill you can see in your first photo. I think it's called Picked Hill and there's a footpath that runs around the base of it.

Indeed it is, Ian. No sign of a public footpath around it though.

Oh well, I thought there was. I'll just have to do a bit of trespassing if I ever get around to it (a quick excursion from the White Horse Trail).
