Interesting route and similar to mine...  Still have some Canon gear and got into autofocus very early on with EOS 700, early D30 and D60s...  Still have 1DS and 1D and a film 1NRS...  But moving slowly onto Mamiya ZD for serious stuff and now TL for when I don't want the weight but still want the quality - just exchanging some EF L lenses for some TL lenses....  Then I can get going.
