Phillip_Meyer Posted February 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I just bought a D-LUX 7 for occasions when I can’t or don’t want to have my M10-P with me. I sometimes like to transfer images directly into my phone using the ‘Fotos’ app on my iPhone 11 Plus. However, when I connect to the camera (on both iPhone and iPad Pro) it just shows ‘No photos’ but if I connect the SD card directly into my iOS device I can import the photos into iPhoto directly. I’m shooting RAW and iPhoto is able to see and edit the RAW images perfectly if I import them directly with the SD card so I don’t understand why I cannot see them in the Fotos app. Any help would be really appreciated! Advertisement Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Hi Phillip_Meyer, Take a look here D-LUX 7 & iOS - Cannot see any photos to import using Fotos app. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
J_L_Ray Posted February 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2020 Hi, Phillip, I have the same issue with my C-Lux, although the app has previously worked with a D-Lux 7 I had, and works with my CL. Can control the camera from the app but "no photos" even after I use the app to take a photo. There are some connectivity glitches between app and C-Lux that make it look like they are not communicating really well. I recently got an iPhone 11 Pro, I was using an 8 when I had the D-Lux 7 - I wonder if the issue is related to the phone as much as to the app? Phillip_Meyer Posted February 9, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted February 9, 2020 I can download video so I assume that it’s something to do with Fotos 2 and RAW. The Fotos 2 App does say that you need to pay for the Pro version to get RAW downloads, I wonder if this is the issue? I don’t understand why I can use it to download RAW from my M10-P though if that’s the case. im going to visit the Leica store in the morning and ask them. Phillip_Meyer Posted February 11, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted February 11, 2020 I spoke with Leica and it is not supported so you can’t download RAW from the D-LUX 7 with their app.
