I think Exodies' measurements are within the tolerances.  Statistically they are the same.

I’ve changed my mind after looking into the algorithms used. I couldn’t find any which didn’t simply process the RGB values from the sensor. So, I agree with jaapv, and believe the round window isn’t involved.

I did some more tests with various filters from a Profoto flash attachment and ND filters on the round window. Fixed shutter, aperture and ISO.

clear 5050, tint -7

6 different colours 4750, -5

2 different colours 4900, -5

1 different colours 4800, -6
1 different colours 4850, -5

3 different ND (1, 2 or 3 of +3 stacked) 4750, -5

I only shoot for print & exhibition in RAW (not the Internet).  Don't care abt WB.  Do all that in PS, which often leads to a lot test prints and happy endings - when I get to 'Ahhhhh...'

Keep in mind other variables:

If for print;  paper, printer, ink-set and especially the light in room they are to be viewed - all important factors

For internet;  that's a 'who knows?'.  People may be looking at an uncalibrated or old monitor - or even worse - on their phone!

In other words, a photo may look perfect to you only on your home computer.  I wouldn't worry about slight skews of color due to lens.  Your intent counts, not the equipment's

PS:  When a scene has too many different light types to balance pleasingly, I'll throw in the towel and revert to B&W
