gareth_c Posted August 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a heads up to let you all know that Robert White is now stocking a new bundle of the CV 15mm and a 21 finder. I think the cost is £10 more than the original 15 and finder. Mine should arrive tomorrow.

c6gowin Posted August 7, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 7, 2007 Get yourself a Milich codeable adapter and Leica 39 mm IR cut filter to go with the CV 15 and you are set. This combination makes a great wide angle setup.

Thanks, Gareth
c6gowin Posted August 7, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2007 Gareth, You will love that lens. It is very small and it is a blast to zone focus and shoot from the hip. I don't even bother with the external finder most of the time. Enjoy your holiday in France. Mark Gowin
gareth_c Posted August 7, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 7, 2007 Thanks Mark. I did own the 12mm that I used with my R-D1 but I sold it. Regret that now but thought I would plump for the 15mm first and see how I got on with it.
earlyadopter Posted August 7, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 7, 2007 Get yourself a Milich codeable adapter... May be it's a stupid question considering how often John Milich is mentioned on those pages, but how to get this adapter? Is it necessary to send him an adapter bought somewhere else or he sells them ready to be painted with those black dots? What is his contact info? Is it necessary to send him an adapter bought somewhere else or he sells them ready to be painted with those black dots? What is his contact info? His email address is jm@milich.com He sells several products. One type of product is the LTM8 adaptor for screw fit lenses. These come with the milled 'holes' for self coding. You simply paint in black or white. You can also send him your existing M-Mount lens flange (is that the word) that he can mill. He also sells the special hood/filet holders for the CV 12mm and 15mm. I hope that is all clear. Oh, and just for the record, he is a great guy to do business with. He produces top quality products and from order to delivery is very fast.
