How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

hofo100, I have a question. Your images display a strong magenta tone. is this deliberate?

...this colorcast should give the impression of an aged print, which somehow should support the pictures of this old railway cars...at least this has been my idea ;)

Not related to cameras, but I'm renting a Panasonic S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 Macro OIS lens for a trip to use on my SL2-S.  I would like to have something of this zoom range and by all accounts it seems versatile, has good image quality, and is about the same size as the SL 24-70.  If the image quality decent I'll consider getting one since the price is pretty good and it would be mostly for special uses.  

I'll have a week with it to decide, and I'm hoping it's as good as the reviews claim.  If not, it's just a rental.
