JohnReid Posted January 29, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted January 29, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was travelling recently with my SL and the 24-90 lens. Â One day, I found that the zoom action on the lens jammed, but a bit of rocking back and forth released it. Since then, it has jammed several times, not always at the same part of the zoom range. Â Normally it frees up with a little twisting and not too much force. Â No apparent effect on the image quality. Is this a one-off, or is it a known problem? Â There has always been a little play in the zoomed-out barrel, but I have felt this in other lenses as well (even when visiting Wetzlar).
