smenp3 Posted January 10, 2020 Share #1 Â Posted January 10, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello community members, I used Leica Q some months ago with Sandisk SD card Extreme 150MB/sec. I always shooting in raw mode but in writing , the camera took too long time for that. Would you like to recommend me what is the fastest card to be used? If the UHS-II card is compatible with the Leica Q? Thank for your reply and happy New Year 2020! SM Â

CharlesL Posted January 11, 2020 Share #2 Â Posted January 11, 2020 A Delkin Devices 32GB Power UHS-II card has been really fast for me. And if your computer has a USB 3 port, the card in a Lexar Professional Workflow SR2 SDHC / SDXC UHS-II USB 3.0 card reader moves the files really fast, too. RoySmith Posted January 11, 2020 Share #3  Posted January 11, 2020 The Leica Q will only work with UHS-1 cards. UHS-II cards are downward compatible and can be used in a Q, but will be much slower than their rating. With a Leica Q the only advantage of a UHS II card is faster  download from a UHS II reader to the computer. The fastest UHS-I Sandisk Extreme Pro card I could find has a read speed of 170 MB/sec and a write speed of 90 MB/sec. The Leica Q2 works with UHS-II cards.

CharlesL Posted January 12, 2020 Share #6 Â Posted January 12, 2020 I should confess that my camera using my card setup is not a Leica.
