Sorry, I think this if old news. But, I remember Jono liking LR, then finding it deficient for large prints, and converting to Aperture. Is there general agreement on this? What exactly is the problem with large Lightroom prints?

I'm finding LR the easiest of all photo software, but I don't want to get too attached if it won't go large.

I searched for this info, but no luck.

Thanks,

Mitchell

I print Epson Velvet/Epson 2200 A3+ with no problems both B&W and colour have two paper profiles that I made up to suit my needs. Lightroom works for me converting from Lightroom to Aperture is a waste of time, get your printer setup right and all is sweet

I use the ColorBurst RIP (X-Photo) for printing with my Epson 4000 and the only way to print larger than letter size is to export a PDF file to the RIP hot folder. There is a serious bug in Lightroom that results in all files being sized as 8.5x11, regardless of page size specified when printing. This bug is specific to eps output and results from improper page size tags. I don't think there is any problem with printing directly to the Epson driver.
