SL2 Button Assignments

I am about to receive my SL2 this week and my previous Canon SLR system did not really embrace customization. According to the Quick Start manual, the buttons numbered 3, 4, 9, 10, 20, 25 can be changed from their default functionality (if I am incorrect please let me know). I am interested in the customization choices people have made to make it more efficient for their personal use. I realize that everyone utilizes cameras differently so it is a little like asking people what's their favorite food, but I am okay with that variability if you are willing to share your choices. What do you think the best uses are for those buttons?
