Leica mistake? An upside-down 23mm Summicron-TL

I have a 23mm Summicron-TL that appears to have the Leica lettering upside down. Optically, the lens is perfect on my CL - this seems to be just a cosmetic concern. You can see the lens mounted below.

Any ideas as to what could be going on? I purchased the lens new from B&H. Just reached out to Leica support, but thought I'd run this past you all. Do I have a unique mistake on my hands?

I propose to keep this "Blue Mauritius" lens. The price will at least double in future :).
